| "What really sold us on Altiris Vision is that our faculty can easily set this up and be teaching in 10-20 seconds, without having to be computer experts. That's really important to us." |

|
| Altiris Vision is a powerful, easy-to-use
software solution designed to help teachers manage their
classrooms more effectively and enhance student learning.
Vision allows a teacher to share any computer screen,
supervise other computers, chat, and take remote control of
their studentsÕ PCs. Regardless of your needs, you'll find
all the essential tools in this integrated solution that
needs no additional hardware to operate. |
| Demo |
| Teachers often struggle to capture a student's
attention. Vision allows a teacher to blank all computer
screens at any time, with a personalized message directed to
the students. A teacher is also able to project their screen
to a particular student or an entire class. In window mode,
student's receive the presentation in a window that can be
resized, moved or minimized, allowing your students to work
along as you teach. In full screen mode, studentsÕ
keyboards and mice are locked to ensure student attention. |

| With the use of computers in the classroom,
student's are able to play computer games and surf the
Internet without the teacher knowing. Vision allows a
teacher to ensure a student focuses on their assigned work
instead of playing on the computer. A teacher is able to
cycle through student's screens to monitor progress or
free-time activities. If a student is playing games or
surfing the net to inappropriate sites, a teacher is able to
take a screenshot of the student's screen and capture what
they are doing without the student knowing. These
screenshots can be saved to a file in the screenshot gallery
for later use if needed. |
| Remote Control |
| Many students are afraid to raise their hand
and risk embarassment in front of their friends. Student's
have the option to request a chat with the teacher without
anyone knowing. This allows a teacher to be aware of a
student's need, and the teacher can take remote control of
their PC to help them work through a problem. Also, if a
student is doing well, a teacher is able to project their
screen to others in the class to help demonstrate how to
work the problem correctly. |
| Hilighter |
| Draw attention to your presentation with more
than 20 HiLighter tools that allow a teacher to show points
of interest on the screen using bullets, arrows, a
spotlight, clipart, zoom, and much more. |
| Class Chat |
| Ensure student participation by moderating
chat sessions throughout the classroom. This utility allows
students to collaborate on projects and request help from
the teacher from the security of their desk. Teachers can
proactively help students without leaving their desk and
without disturbing other students. Because Altiris Vision
requires no additional hardware, it doesn't require any
cables or add other complexity to your classroom, and it
costs less to maintain. Altiris Vision supports up to 50
computers per classroom, and delivers great performance on
LANs of any speed. Altiris Vision supports Windows 95, 98,
2000, NT and Me. |
