A powerful tool for monitoring audio in mastering video or film programs that employ surround sound. The surround sound image confirms correlation to the video image and the effects of processing such as delays, fades wipes, etc. can be seen as well as heard. Menu control of all phases of operation enable the unit to operate in 3-1 (L, C, R, Surround), 3-2 (L, C, R, SL, SR) as well as conventional stereo systems and provide options in selecting reference levels and gain. Displays include sound image with dedicated bargraph level displays and multi-Lissajous displays that show relative phase and amplitude between all inputs.
