FIBER OPTICS ELECTRONIC SENSORS

The DISCOVERY VIII FIBER OPTICS & ELECTRONIC SENSORS… MODEL D3000 provides a comprehensive training program addressing the industrial technology and applications of FIBER OPTICS, INFRARED SENSORS, and PROXIMITY SENSORS. The system provides a self contained power supply, control module, inputs and outputs, working devices, various optical fibers, industrial sensors, and accessories that create a true industrial environment within the classroom. All components are assembled on the instrumentation panel and all loose components are stored in the supplied storage case for inventory control as well as security. A water tower and pumping station provide the student with a hands-on and visual observation of an actual industrial application of sensor monitoring and control. The program is supported by a flexible, comprehensive courseware package that includes both student and instructor manuals. Optional Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) is available.

Specifications:

The D8000 Fiber Optics and Electronic Sensors trainer shall provide a hands-on training experience in the technology and applications of fiber optics, infrared and proximity sensors. The system consists of a portable mainframe instrumentation panel, accessory package, and water tower station. A 7 to 10 Day Plus courseware package shall be included. A reprint release is granted to the purchaser for all courseware reproduction.

Main Frame:

The 18 gauge welded steel frame provides an instrumentation panel that houses and supports all main components. The main frame shall also contain an on-board 12 VDC power supply. The instrumentation panel shall supply the following hard mounted components:
